Forum Guidelines
PeopleForChange is a grassroots community dedicated to changing this country in the spirit of the Dean Campaign/Movement which has redefined politics for the 21st Century.

Our Discussion Forums are open to all those from across the full range of the center to left political spectrum, who share similar goals as described in our mission statement, and who agree to the following rules:

1. Our intention is to create an environment which is friendly, open, inviting and productive. Obviously, civility and respect are paramount and expected toward other members at all times. This is the key rule for this forum. Differences of opinion can be respectfully made. Administrators and Moderators have the sole discretion to determine when someone is not following this rule, as well as to remove any post at any time.

2. Disrupting and Trolling is unacceptable, including repeated hijacking or derailing discussions by introducing off-topic subject matter.

3. While adult language and other content is not monitored, no comments or content that is racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted are allowed. Especially crude sexual content may be removed.

4. Spamming and advertising of any kind are not allowed.

5. Do not reveal personal information, including personal contact information, about any other member or public figures. (Official contact information for public officials, celebrities, etc., is allowed.)

6. Harassment and cyberstalking are not allowed. Anyone who harasses or threatens members in our discussion forums or via Private Message (PM), email, or other contact outside the discussion forum will be banned.

7. Copyright infringement is not allowed. When posting material from other sites, limit the excerpts to four paragraphs of a normal-length article and include the link so those interested can read the entire article at the original site.

8. Do not post anything that can be construed as advocating physical harm to any public official or public figure, or the overthrow of the U.S. government. Such posts will be removed.

9. Repeated failure to comply with rules 1 through 8 will result in revoking of the posting privileges.

10. Members can report questionable or offending posts to the Moderators by clicking the "Report" button on the offending post.

11. Forum Administrators and Moderators have the authority to interpret and enforce these rules, to remove any post or ban any user at any time for any reason.
