Trend is in right direction, yes - but: Time is Running Out*

*don't mean to unduly rain on proverbial parade, Cap. If Yrs Trly is a little gloomy, chalk it up to fact that I just got back from runner-up (to DRC) for 'hell on earth.'

Welcome back Alex. So much of this is attitude. It's important to remember that. Forest, Trees, etc.

Perhaps easy enough for some of us (ie, those with always-needed professional skills, honed via top-knotch ed-ja-ma-ca-shun and years of experience) to say.

And again, certain aspects of national economy do seem to be moving in the right direction.

Howsoever, might US be in real danger of missing that forest for some (equally important) trees right now?

Might this be the new 'normal' for foreseeable future? And, if so, what will be eventual impact upon society?

oi :(

Two part answer: Quite likely, and pretty significant...not in a good way.
